Preparation steps

1.

Mix all the dough ingredients in a bowl and knead to a smooth dough. Cover the dough and leave to rise in warm place for about 20 min.

2.

Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water, peel, cut out the stalk and cut into slices.

3.

Peel the shallots and cut into rings.

4.

Rinse the bell peppers, cut in half, remove the seeds and ribs, and cut into strips.

5.

Saute the shallots and bell peppers briefly in hot oil. Let cool down.

6.

Divide the dough in half and roll out two pizza bases. Place the bases on a baking tray lined with baking paper and top with thyme, tomatoes, shallots and bell peppers. Sprinkle with gouda cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (fan: 200°C, gas mark 4-5) (approximately 428°F) for about 15-20 minutes.
