1 kilogram Crookneck pumpkin
150 milliliters water
150 milliliters white wine
150 grams sugar
3 garlic cloves
1 onion (sliced)
3 Tbsps raisins (soaked)

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Cut the pumpkin into cubes and divide into 2-3 glass jars. Bring the water and sugar to a boil. Add the wine, return to a boil, then pour the liquid over the pumpkin pieces.

Divide the garlic, onion slices, and raisin into the jars. Seal tightly.

4.

Place a kitchen towel on a baking sheet, and place the jars on top. Add a little boiling water, and bake for 40 minutes in the oven to sterilize. Turn off the oven, and let cool completely.
