500 grams sweet Cherries
200 milliliters Cabbage
125 grams sugar
2 Tbsps Vanilla sugar
4 cloves
4 allspice
1 pc organic Orange peel
5 Tbsps Cherry brandy

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the cherries thoroughly and remove the pits, making sure that the cherries remain intact. 

2.

Bring 200 ml (approximately 7 ounces) of water, the juice, sugar, vanilla sugar, cloves, all spice, and orange zest to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 5 minutes. 

3.

PLace the cherries into prepared, clean jars. Pass the liquid through a fine strainer, mix in the kirsch, then pour over the cherries. Seal tightly and cool completely.
