Preparation steps

Cook the penne in boiling salted water until al dente.

Rinse the tomatoes, Pel the garlic and pass through a press. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the garlic and tomatoes, and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Thoroughly drain the pasta, add to the pan, and toss until combined. Transfer the pasta to plates, sprinkle with the parmesan cheese, and garnish with the basil. If you'd like top with a few drops of olive oil, and serve.
