- ½ cup butter (softened)
- 1 pinch salt
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- ½ cup Chocolate chip
- ⅔ cup Pecan (roughly chopped)
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with baking parchment paper.

Cream together the butter, salt, sugar and brown sugar, add the egg and mix well.
3.
Mix together the flour and baking powder and carefully fold into the butter and sugar.
4.
Melt half of the chocolate chips.
5.
Mix the remaining chocolate chips and the pecan nuts into the cookie dough.
6.
Place one third of the dough in a separate bowl and mix with the melted chocolate.
7.
Return the chocolate dough to the rest of the dough and mix to achieve a marbled effect (do not mix too thoroughly or this effect will be lost).
8.
Using a teaspoon, spoon cookie dough onto the lined cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove and cool on a wire rack.
