Preparation steps

1.

Peel and finely chop onion and garlic. Rinse and cut cherry tomatoes into quarters.

Heat oil in a pan over high heat. Fry ground beef until browned and crumbly, 3-4 minutes. Add onion and garlic and fry over medium heat, 2-3 minutes. Deglaze with red wine. Add half of tomatoes and simmer over very low heat, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes.

3.

Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, according to package directions. Rinse basil, shake dry and strip leaves from stems.

4.

Add remaining tomatoes and oregano to sauce and cook 5 minutes. Season sauce with salt and pepper.

5.

Drain pasta, mix with sauce and divide among 4 plates. Garnish with basil leaves and serve immediately.
