- 400 grams Fennel bulb
- 2 Tbsps butter
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 100 milliliters Vegetable broth
- 350 grams Spaghetti
- 150 grams ham
- 4 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsps parsley

Preparation steps
1.
Trim fennel, rinse and cut into small pieces. Sauté in hot butter about 3 minutes, add vegetable broth and cook for about 10 minutes, season with salt and pepper.

Cook spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.

Cut ham into thin slices.
4.
Drain fennel, remove about 1 cup of liquid and mix with the ham and noodles, season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Arrange on plates and garnish with parsley.
5.
Serve with a crisp green salad.
