- 1 kilogram clam
- 2 shallots
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp freshly chopped thyme
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
- 100 milliliters dry white wine
- 100 milliliters fish stock
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 400 grams Spaghetti
- 4 Tbsps freshly chopped parsley
Preparation steps

Rinse and clean clams well. Discard all opened shells. Peel shallots and garlic, chop finely. Heat oil in a saucepan and saute shallots, garlic and thyme for a few minutes. Add white wine, stock and add drained clams and simmer, covered, for about 5 minutes or until all clams are opened. Discard all closed clams and season with salt and pepper.

Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Add drained pasta with parsley to clams and toss well. Arrange on warmed plates and serve.
