Roast chicken 1 kg (2.25 lbs)
Pepper (from the mill)

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Rinse the whole chicken and pat dry. Season the inside with salt and pepper. Rinse the parsley, shake dry and place into the cavity of the chicken.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter with the honey.

Mix the paprika, salt and pepper and brush the spices over the chicken. 

Place the chicken in the oven on the middle rack, breast-side down, making sure to slide a pan underneath to catch any drips. Roast the chicken for 50-60 minutes. Every so often, sprinkle with the honey and butter mixture.
