Orange and Honey Filled Apples

Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Butter a baking dish.
Core the apples and place in the baking dish. Cut around the skin of each apple with a sharp knife.
Mix together the honey, cinnamon and orange zest and place an equal amount in the cavity of each apple. Pour the orange juice around the apples.
Bake for about 40 minutes until tender, basting with the orange juice occasionally.
Place in serving dishes and insert a shortbread finger into each apple.
