Preparation steps

Beat the eggs in a bowl with salt and pepper. Coarsely chop the goat cheese. Chiffonade the basil, setting aside 5-6 whole leaves. Add the cheese and the basil to the eggs.

Heat the butter in a pan, then add the egg-cheese mixture. Let set, covered, over low heat. Garnish with the whole basil leaves before serving.
