6 egg whites
150 grams powdered sugar
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
80 grams ground Hazelnuts
500 grams Strawberries
500 grams Whipped cream
2 packets Vanilla sugar

Preparation steps

1.

Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in the powdered sugar, cocoa powder and hazelnuts.

Spoon the meringue into two circles with a 25 cm (approximately 10 inches diameter on a parchment paper-lined baking sheets and bake in an oven preheated to 160°C (approximately 325°F) for about 30 minutes or until dried. Remove from the oven and let cool.

3.

Rinse the strawberries, trim and pat dry and cut half of them into thin slices.

4.

Whip the cream with vanilla sugar until stiff.

5.

Spread a little cream on the bottom meringue, sprinkle with strawberry slices, spread some more cream on top, arrange the second meringue on top, and also top with strawberry slices and cream. Top with some more cream and garnish with the remaining strawberries in the center.
