- 260 grams Pastry flour
- 60 grams ground Hazelnuts
- 2 Tbsps cocoa powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsps Baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 egg
- 90 grams honey
- 80 milliliters vegetable oil
- 250 milliliters Buttermilk
- 400 grams Dark couverture chocolate
- 200 grams Almond slivers
- 24 Sugar pearls
- butter (for baking sheet)
Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Lightly grease muffin tin. Combine flour, hazelnuts, cocoa powder, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda and mix well.

Whisk egg and mix with honey, vegetable oil and buttermilk and stir into flour mixture. Pour dough into muffin tins and bake for about 25 minutes. Let muffins rest for 5 minutes in baking tray, then remove and let cool completely. Coarsely chop chocolate, melt over a bowl of hot water and spread over muffins. Dry on a wire rack. Garnish with almonds and pearls as desired and serve.
