- 4 firm Pear (washed; halved and cored)
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- 5 cups salad (or watercress)
- 2 cups Stilton cheese (crumbled)
- ½ cup Walnut (chopped)
- For the Dressing
- 3 Tbsps Walnut oil
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 3 Tbsps white wine vinegar
- ½ tsp granulated sugar
- salt (to taste)
- freshly ground peppers (to taste)
- 1 tsp peppercorns (lightly crushed)
Preparation steps

Preheat grill or grill pan.

Brush the flesh of the cored pear halves with lemon juice.

Grill the pears for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from grill and set aside.
4.
Arrange the greens or watercress on serving plates and place the grilled pears on top. Sprinkle the crumbled cheese and chopped walnuts over the top.
5.
In a small bowl, combine all the dressing ingredients; mixing well.
6.
Drizzle the dressing over the salad. Serve immediately.
