- 1 shallot
- 100 grams fresh mint
- 375 milliliters Cider
- 3 Tbsps lemon juice
- 6 centiliters Mint liqueur
- 500 grams jam sugar
Preparation steps

Peel and finely chop the shallot. Rinse the mint leaves. Set side 1/3, and combine the rest with the shallots and 125 ml (approximately 4 ounces) of boiling water. Let rest for 15 minutes.

Chop the remaining leaves and fill into prepared jars. Drain the cooking liquid through a strainer. Bring to a boil with the cider, lemon juice, and jam sugar. Cook for 4 minutes.

Remove from the heat and stir in the mint liqueur. Divide into the prepared jars. Seal well, and turn upside down. Turn right side up after 10 minutes, and cool completely.
