1 day-old White roll
1 large onion
500 grams Ground meat (mixed)
1 egg
1 Tbsp medium hot Mustard
salt
freshly ground peppers
Pastry flour (for work surface)

1 Tbsp clarified butter (for frying)
parsley (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Soak rolls in a bowl with a little lukewarm water. Peel onion and finely chop. Place minced meat in a bowl and add diced onions. Top with whisked egg. Squeeze bread, mix with mustard and add to ground meat. Season with salt and pepper and then knead with hands until smooth. Divide into 8 portions and roll into meatball shapes. Slightly flatten. Heat up grill.

Peel onions and cut into rings. Rinse mushrooms and cut into slices. Rinse parsley, shake dry and pluck leaves. Cook meatballs on hot grill for 4-5 minutes on each side until brown and cooked through.

Saute onions until golden brown in hot butter. Remove and put on a plate. Fry mushrooms in the same pan until no liquid remains. Season with salt and pepper. Serve meatballs topped with onions and mushrooms and garnished with parsley leaves.
