- 1 organic lemon
- 5 lemons
- 50 milliliters clear Apple juice
- lemons (for garnish)

Preparation steps
1.
Mix sugar with 200 ml (approximately 7 ounces) of water in a pot and simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes until bubbly. Then remove from the heat.
2.
Rinse lemon in hot water, wipe dry and finely grate zest. Squeeze juice from lemon. Add lemon juice, apple juice and lemon zest to the pot, stir and let cool.
3.
Pour lemon mixture into a shallow metal bowl and freeze for at least 4 hours. Stir every 30 minutes with a fork during freezing.
4.
Scrape lemon granita out of the bowl with a sharp spoon and fill chilled glasses. Serve immediately garnished with lemon slices.
