- 8 Chicken legs
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 Tbsp caperberry (in a jar)
- 6 sprigs thyme
- 4 Tbsps crushed Tomatoes
- 1 lemon (cut in slices)
- 200 milliliters dry white wine
- 250 milliliters Chicken broth

Preparation steps

Rinse the chicken, pat dry, salt and pepper and sear in a hot pan around golden brown with oil.

Remove the garlic. Chop the garlic finely and mix with the capers, thyme, pureed tomatoes, and lemon slices in a large baking dish. Add the chicken. Pour in the wine and broth. Simmer over medium heat for about 25 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve while warm.
