- 800 grams lamb (ready to cook, shoulder)
- 1 stalk Leeks
- 1 ½ centimeters fresh ginger
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 fresh lemon
- 400 grams chickpeas (canned)
- 2 Tbsps sesame oil
- ½ tsp ground Turmeric
- ½ tsp ground Cumin
- 1 pinch ground cilantro
- 1 pc Cinnamon stick
- 400 grams diced Tomatoes (canned)
- 150 milliliters Beef broth
- salt
- peppers
- 2 Tbsps freshly chopped parsley

Preparation steps

Rinse meat, pat dry and chop. Rinse and dry leek, cut into 1 cm (approximately 0.5 inch) wide strips. Peel ginger and garlic, chop finely. Rinse lemon in hot water, dry. Grate zest and squeeze out juice. Drain chickpeas.

Heat oil in a pan and saute leek, ginger and garlic. Slide to the side and saute meat. Add lemon zest, turmeric, cumin, coriander and cinnamon. Add tomatoes and broth pour and simmer for about 45 minutes on low heat. Add broth as necessary.
3.
Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle with parsley and serve.
