- 1 Ciabatta (cut in 12 slices)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (cut in half)
- 6 Tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- For the topping
- 6 ripe Tomatoes
- 2 Tbsps chopped Red onions
- Basil
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the grill.

Grill the ciabatta slices on each side until lightly golden.
3.
Rub the bread slices with the garlic and drizzle evenly with most of the oil.
4.
Pour boiling water over the tomatoes and leave for 1 minute. Drain well and remove the skins.
5.
Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and place on top of the bread slices. Add the onions and basil leaves and season to taste with salt and black pepper. Drizzle lightly with the remaining olive oil.
