- 4 cups lean Ground beef
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper
- olive oil (for brushing)
- 8 thin Cheddar cheese
- To serve
- 4 Burger buns
- Lettuce
- 2 large Tomatoes (sliced)
- Pickled Cucumber (sliced)

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the grill.

Put the minced beef in a bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper. Press the meat together with your hands and shape into 4 balls.
3.
Flatten the meat balls and brush lightly with oil. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
4.
Toast the burger buns until golden.
5.
Place a little lettuce on the base of each burger bun and place the tomato slices on top.
6.
Put the burgers on top and place 2 cheese slices on top. Add the pickled cucumber slices. Place the top of the bun on top and serve immediately.
