250 grams dried, white Beans
800 grams salt cured Roasted ham
1 Tbsp butter
salt
1 splash lemon juice
white peppers

Preparation steps

1.

Soak the beans overnight in water. Drain, rinse well, cover with fresh water and boil with the bay leaf for about 40 minutes, until tender. 

2.

Cut the ham into thick slices and grill on a well-oiled, preheated grill for about 5 minutes on each side. 

3.

Stir the butter into the cooked beans and season with lemon juice and white pepper. Serve the beans alongside the grilled ham steaks.
