- 21 ozs Pork belly (lean, cured)
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 2 onions (finely chopped)
- 4 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 6 cups Sauerkraut (roughly chopped)
- 1 tin White bean (drained)
Preparation steps
1.
Boil the pork belly in approx. 1 litre of salt water and then simmer on a low heat for 45 minutes. Remove and cut into small pieces.

Heat 2 tbsp butter in a pot and fry the onions, garlic and sauerkraut. Stir in two cups of meat stock and simmer on a low heat for 25 minutes. Season with salt and ground black pepper.
3.
After 10 minutes add the beans and the meat and cook until done. Arrange on plates and serve.
