- 1 stale Bread roll
- 4 cups minced lamb
- 1 egg
- 1 garlic clove (chopped)
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- breadcrumbs
- Oil (for frying)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 4 Bread roll
- ⅓ cup Dried Tomatoes (in oil, chopped)
- ⅓ cup black Olives (pitted, chopped)
- ⅓ cup Feta (crumbled)
- 1 bunch Lettuce (e. g. rocket, torn in to small pieces)

Preparation steps
1.
Soften the stale roll in some lukewarm water. Wring out and mix with the meat, egg, garlic and thyme. If necessary add some bread crumbs to the mixture to make it pliable. Season with salt and ground black pepper.

Shape 4 burgers from the mixture and fry in hot oil for 2-3 minute on each side. Add the onion to the pan and brown.

Cut the rolls in half and if desired toast lightly on the cut side in a separate pan. Place the burgers on the rolls and top with tomatoes, olives, feta and rocket. Add the onions and place the other half of the roll on top. Serve immediately.
