Preparation steps

1.

Peel onion and cut into thin rings. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and sauté onion at a low temperature until translucent, approximately 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

2.

Boil penne in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water. Rinse cucumber, cut in half lengthwise and cut into thin slices. Rinse, clean and cut the bell pepper into pieces. Cut feta cheese into cubes, if necessary. Rinse dill, shake dry and pluck off the tips. Reserve some dill for garnish.

3.

Toss pasta with onion, cucumber, bell pepper, feta cheese and dill. Whisk together 3 tablespoons olive oil with lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir into pasta salad. Garnish with dill and serve.
