Gourmet Steak with Onions

Serve with potatoes and beans.
Wash the steaks, pat dry and put into a bowl with the oil. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
Peel the onions and cut into thin rings. Heat the butter and oil in a frying pan and fry the onion rings until golden brown. Take out and keep warm.
Add a little of the marinating oil to the oil left in the pan and reheat. Take the steaks out of the oil, drain and fry for about 2-4 minutes each side, until golden brown. Add cream and season with salt and pepper after turning.
Top the meat with the onion rings and serve.
