- 2 ½ kilograms Braised Cucumbers
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 l apple cider vinegar
- 500 grams sugar
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 3 cloves
- 2 tsps Mustard seed
- Dill
- Dill flower

Preparation steps

Rinse the cucumbers and cut into thick, diagonal slices. Peel and thinly slice the garlic. Combine the apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, cloves, mustard seeds and 500 ml of water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add the cucumbers and garlic and cook for about 4 minutes, until the cucumbers become translucent. Remove with a slotted spoon and place into sterilized glass jars. Place several dill sprigs and flowers into each jar.

Boil the vinegar mixture for 10 minutes then pour over the cucumbers (they should be covered with liquid). Tightly seal the jars and process in boiling water for 10 minutes. Allow to pickle for 1 month before serving.
