½ cup soft brown sugar
2 tablespoons jam sugar (3:1)
1 generous pinch ground cloves
1 unwaxed Orange (juice and grated peel)
cup water
¼ cup dry Red wine

Preparation steps

Place the cranberries in a pan with the water, wine, orange juice, sugar, cloves and orange peel and bring to the boil.
