- 6 Apple (cored)
- 2 ozs ready-to-eat Dried apricot (chopped)
- 2 ozs mixed Nut (e. g. pecan, walnut, almond)
- granulated sweetener (to taste)
- 4 Tbsps Orange juice
- ground cinnamon
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4.

Score a line with a sharp knife around the centre of each apple, through the skin, but not through the flesh. Place the apples in a baking dish.
3.
Mix together the apricots, nuts and sweetener and and spoon inside the apples. Drizzle with orange juice and pour the remainingjuice around the apples. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon and sweetener.
4.
Bake for 25-35 minutes until tender.
