- 4 centiliters Cherry brandy
- 400 grams Cherry ice cream
- 400 grams Vanilla ice cream
- 30 grams Poppy cake mix (sweetened)

- Maraschino cherry

Preparation steps
1.
Marinate the cherries in the kirsch for approximately 1 hour. Cut the cherry ice cream into large pieces and churn with an electric hand mixer until creamy. Pour into a large bowl and freeze for at least 1 hour. Churn half of the vanilla ice cream until creamy, fold in the drained cherries and pour on top of the cherry ice cream. Freeze for at least 1 hour.

Churn the remaining vanilla ice cream with the poppy seed baking mix until creamy. Pour on top of the vanilla-cherry ice cream.

Cover and freeze for at least 1 hour.
Briefly plunge the bowl in warm water and remove the ice cream from the bowl. Garnish with whipped cream, lemon balm leaves and cherries. Serve immediately.
