- 500 grams Cassava (malanga or yucca, peeled and finely grated)
- 1 egg
- 3 garlic cloves (peeled and pressed through a garlic press)
- 1 Tbsp parsley
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- vegetable oil (to fry)

Preparation steps
1.
Mix all the ingredients together well into a thick, smooth batter.
2.
Heat oil in a pan and place small portions of the batter in the shape of a cookie into the pan. Fry the cookies on both sides for about 2 minutes. Remove the cookies from the pan and keep warm in the oven (70°C) (approximately 160°F).
