- 500 grams Beef (from the shoulder)
- 1 ½ liters Beef broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 bunch Soup vegetables (such as carrot, leek, parsnip or other aromatic vegetables such as celery or onion, ready to cook)
- 1 kilogram potatoes (peeled and sliced)
- 125 grams marbled Bacon
- 400 grams onions
- 75 grams Lard
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 125 milliliters Whipped cream

Preparation steps
1.
Combine beef with soup vegetables and bay leaf in a large pot, add broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours. Remove meat from the pot and cool slightly, cut into bite-sized pieces. Strain broth into a bowl.

Heat butter in a large pan. Add bacon and onions and saute for a few mintues, stirring. Add meat and potatoes and cook for a few minutes. Add broth and simmer, covered, for about 15 minutes on medium heat. Season with salt and pepper and add sour cream. Mix well and serve.
