- For the cupcakes
- 150 grams butter
- 150 grams sugar
- 2 eggs
- 250 grams Pastry flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Lemon peel
- 150 milliliters milk
Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Line the wells of a muffin sheet with paper cases.
Beat the butter and sugar together until creamy, and add the eggs one at a time. Combine the flour, baking powder and lemon zest, then add to the butter, alternating with the milk. Pour the batter into the prepared trays and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
For the frosting, mix the cream with the powdered sugar until stiff and spoon into a pastry bag with a small opening.
Allow the cupcakes to cool completely, then remove from the molds and frost with the pastry bag. Serve decorated with colored sprinkles.
