- ½ cup crunchy Peanut butter
- ½ cup caster sugar
- ½ cup soft light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup plain flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- salt
- 1 cup Dark Chocolate chip
- Hot chocolate (to serve)

Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the oven to 170°C(150° fan)|325F|gas 3. Grease and line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.

Cream together the butter, peanut butter, and both sugars in a large mixing bowl using an electric hand-held whisk. After approximately 3 minutes, beat in the egg until thoroughly incorporated.

Fold in the flour, bicarbonate of soda, salt, and chocolate chips until the cookie dough is smooth and even. Drop generous tablespoons of the dough onto the prepared trays and flatten out with the tines of a fork.
4.
Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden-brown and set. Remove to a wire rack to cool before serving with mugs of hot chocolate.
