Ingredients

For the panna cotta
3 Gelatin sheet
1 cup milk
1 cup cream (48% fat)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsps sugar
For the sauce
2.333 cups Strawberries
2 Tbsps powdered sugar
To decorate
small Strawberries

Preparation steps

1.
For the panna cotta: soak the gelatine leaves in a little cold water for about 5 minutes until soft.
2.
Heat the milk, cream, vanilla and sugar in a pan and bring to a simmer.
3.
Squeeze the water from the gelatine leaves, then add the gelatine to the pan and remove from the heat. Stir until the gelatine has dissolved.
4.
Divide the mixture among 4 serving glasses and leave to cool. Chill for at least 1 hour, until set.
5.
For the sauce: put the strawberries in a bowl and sprinkle with the sugar.
6.
Put into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Press through a sieve into a bowl.
7.
Spoon the sauce on top of the panna cotta and decorate with strawberries.
