- ½ l Vegetable broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp Juniper berries
- ½ tsp peppercorns
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 onion
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 ½ kilograms clam (such as vongole)
- 3 sprigs parsley

Preparation steps
1.
Mix white wine in a pot with vegetable broth, spices, finely chopped garlic and onion sliced in half rings and bring to a boil. Season broth to taste.
2.
Meanwhile, rinse clams and throw away any opened shells. Place clams into boiling broth and let simmer for about 10 minutes. After cooking, discard any unopened shells.
3.
Remove shells from broth and serve immediately garnished with parsley.
