1 ready to cook, 1,2 kg (approximately 2 pounds 10 ounces) chicken
Sea salt

1 Tbsp sharp or noble sweet to taste ground paprika
4 Tbsps melted butter

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Rinse the chicken and pat dry. Season inside with salt and pepper and truss the legs. Place the chicken breast side up on a rack in a roasting pan and roast about 60 minutes.

3.

Mix about 1 teaspoon of salt with paprika and butter and baste the chicken with the butter after its roasted 20 minutes. Continue roasting and basting the chicken every 5 or 10 minutes.

4.

Remove the chicken from the roasting pan and serve, if desried with cranberry sauce.
