½ cup sugar

2 Star anise
1 Cinnamon stick

Preparation steps

1.
Prepare, wash and drain the berries. Rinse the orange in hot water, then grate the peel and squeeze out the juice.
2.
Pour the grape juice, orange juice into a large pan together with 1 teaspoon of grated orange peel, 100 g sugar, the spices, a slit vanilla pod and the berries.
3.
Bring to a simmering point, then simmer gently for a 5 minutes.
4.
Remove from the heat and take out the spices. Add some more sugar according to taste, spoon into small dishes and serve.
