- For the batter
- 5 ozs semi-sweet chocolate (50% cocoa solids)
- ½ cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 Tbsps flour
- Oil (for the ramekins)

- 1 ½ ozs semi-sweet chocolate (50-60 % cocoa solids)
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 4 scoops Vanilla ice cream

Preparation steps

Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt with the butter over a low heat. Whisk the eggs, egg yolks and sugar with the egg whisk of your mixer. Stir in the flour and the chocolate-butter mixture. Oil 4 ramekins and sprinkle with sugar. Fill 3/4 full with the mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F/175°C for about 15-20 minutes. In the meantime, heat the chocolate over a hot bain-marie, stir in the butter.

Remove the chocolate pudding from the oven, put one scoop of ice cream on each ramekin, add a little of the chocolate and serve at once.
