- For the dough
- 50 grams Dark chocolate
- 250 grams Pastry flour
- 1 Tbsp Cocoa
- 2 packets Bourbon vanilla powder
- 75 grams powdered sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 100 grams ground almonds
- 175 grams butter
- For dusting
- 6 packets Vanilla sugar
- 4 tsps Cocoa

Preparation steps

Finely grate the chocolate.

Combine the flour, cocoa, vanilla sugar, powdered sugar, salt and almonds in a bowl. Chop the butter into pieces, add to the bowl and knead. Finally, knead in the grated chocolate with cool hands. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for about 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Divide the dough into finger-thick rolls. Cut into 5 cm (approximately 2 inches) long pieces and shape into crescents. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 12 minutes.
4.
Mix the vanilla sugar and cocoa and sprinkle the hot crescents immediately after baking, then let cool.
