250 grams Dark couverture chocolate
250 grams butter
5 eggs
250 grams brown sugar
½ tsp salt
200 grams Pastry flour
200 grams dulce de leche
cocoa powder (for dusting)

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Line the baking pan or deep baking tray with parchment paper.

Chop the chocolate and melt together with the butter over a hot water bath. Mix well and let it cool.

Whisk the eggs with the brown sugar and the salt until light and fluffy. Add in the chocolate butter and after stirring well, fold into the flour. Pour around 2/3 of the batter into the baking pan and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. When done, remove from the oven, spread the Dulce de leche on the cake and pour over it the remaining batter. Bake again for another 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, let it cool and cut it into pieces. Dust the cake with cocoa powder, serve and enjoy.
