- 3 Tomatoes
- 250 grams cooked chickpeas (canned)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 100 milliliters Chicken broth (Instant)
- 50 milliliters dry white wine
- 1 generous pinch ground Saffron
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 Red chili pepper

Preparation steps

Blanch tomatoes in hot water for a few seconds, rinse in cold water and peel. Quarter and remove seeds, then chop.

Drain chickpeas in a colander, rinse in cold water and drain again. Peel and chop garlic and onion. Heat olive oil in a pan and saute onion and garlic until soft. Add tomatoes, chickpeas, chicken broth, white wine and saffron and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Puree and season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.

Rinse and halve chile pepper, remove seeds and ribs and cut into thin half-rings. Sprinkle dip with pepper and serve as needed.
