- ½ tsp allspice
- 2 carrots
- 300 grams Celery root
- 1 stalk Leeks
- 200 grams soup noodles

- 2 Tbsps freshly chopped parsley

Preparation steps

Rinse the chicken and bring to a boil with about 2 liters (approximately 8 cups) water. Add the bay leaf, cloves and allspice and simmer for about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, rinse the carrots and celeriac, peel and finely chop. Trim the leek, rinse and cut into rings. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, rinse and drain. Remove the chicken from the broth and strain the broth into a clean saucepan. Add the vegetables and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove the meat from the chicken and cut into bite-sized pieces. Discard the bones and skin. Add to the soup along with the noodles and cook until heated through. Add the parsley and season with salt and pepper.
