- ⅔ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1.333 cups soft light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.333 cup cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 chocolate and caramel Nougat bars (chopped)
- ½ tsp flaked Sea salt
Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (160° fan)|350F|gas 4 and line two large baking trays with greaseproof paper.

Cream together the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until pale and fluffy; 2 - 3 minutes.

Add the egg and vanilla, beating well, until incorporated. Fold through the flour, cocoa powder, bicarbonate of soda, and salt until a dough comes together.

Stir in the chopped nougat bars and drop generous tablespoons of the dough onto the baking trays, spaced apart.
5.
Bake for 8 - 10 minutes until just set. Remove to a wire rack and leave to cool slightly. Serve with a garnish of flaked sea salt on top.
