- 200 grams sugar
- 500 grams Strawberries
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 500 milliliters chilled Sparkling wine
- 4 mint (for garnish)
Preparation steps

Bring the sugar with 200 ml (approximately 3/4 cup) of water to a boil and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Rinse, trim and chop the strawberries. Puree with lemon juice until smooth. Mix with the sugar and pour into a chilled shallow dish.

Freeze for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally with a fork to prevent the formation of large ice crystals. Scoop a ball of the sorbet, place in champagne glasses and top with champagne. Garnish with mint and serve.
