250 milliliters dry white wine
400 grams sugar
1 Vanilla bean
1 lemon (juiced)
1 kilogram firm, ripe, yellow Plum
350 grams Blackberry
8 centiliters Plum brandy

Preparation steps

Combine wine with 250 ml (approximately 1 cup) of water, sugar, slit vanilla pod and lemon juice, bring to a boil and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Rinse and pit plums, cut into thin wedges. Rinse and dry blackberries. Place plums and blackberries into prepared preserving jars. Remove syrup from heat, add brandy and remove vanillaa bean, pour over fruit until they are completely covered. Seal well and store in a cool and dark place for at least 2 days. Serve as needed.
