- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 2 cups waxy potatoes (cut in small wedges)
- 2 cups Celeriac (cut in small wedges)
- 2 cups carrots (cut into strips)
- 2 cups Rutabaga (cut in small wedges)
- 3 cups white Cabbage (cut into strips)
- 6 cups vegetable stock
- 1 cup Sieved Tomatoes
- 2 cups Sausage (e. g. Cabanossi, sliced)
- ½ tsp Cumin
- 2 Tbsps chopped Chives

Preparation steps
1.
Sauté the onion in hot oil until translucent. Add the vegetables, fry together briefly and pour over the stock. Stir in the sieved tomatoes and simmer on a moderate heat for around 20 minutes, adding the sausage around 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
2.
Season to taste with salt, pepper and cumin, and serve sprinkled with chopped chives.
