Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 250°C (approximately 480°F). Peel and halve garlic cloves. Rinse and finely chop tomatoes.

Rinse the scallions, cut into 3-4 cm-long (approximately 1 inch) pieces, then cut into thin strips. Rinse and shake dry the basil, finely cut into strips and mix with the diced tomatoes and scallions.

3.

Season everything with salt and pepper. Toast the bread slices in the oven, rub the warm toast with garlic and drizzle with olive oil. Top with the tomato mixture and serve immediately.
