- 800 grams small, new potatoes
- 2 Tbsps sunflower oil
- salt
- 4 Sausage (about 500 g)
- 1 onion
- 250 grams Cherry tomatoes
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 slices stale white bread
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 Tbsps butter
- Cress (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Rinse the potatoes, and boil in salted water for 20 minutes until soft. Let cool, then halve lengthwise. Slice the sausages. Peel and julienne the onions. Rinse the tomatoes. Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet, and sauté the potatoes, onions, and bratwurst for 5-6 minutes, until goldne brown. Add the tomatoes, season to taste with salt and pepper, and cook an additional 3 minutes.

Cut the white bread into cubes. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Toast the bread with the garlic in a pan with the butter.

Spread the bratwurst mixture onto plates, and top with the toasted bread cubes. Garnish with the watercress and serve.
