Eaten before a workout, bananas are a good choice, as they quickly replenish our batteries - helping us to last longer. After exercise, the exotic helps exhausted muscles regenerate. The scent of fresh oranges stimulates, makes us cheerful and generous, and makes us more calm and relaxed.

Originally from Iceland, skyr contains a lot of protein and hardly any fat. You can now find it in most supermarkets, health food stores, and discount stores. If you can't find it, you can replace it with classic low-fat quark for the banana-orange smoothie.

Preparation steps

1.

The day before for the banana-orange smoothie, peel and slice the bananas and freeze for at least 12 hours. The next day, remove bananas from freezer and allow to thaw briefly.

2.

Meanwhile, rinse 1 orange with hot water, rub dry and finely grate half of the peel. Halve orange, cut 3-4 wedges from the center for the garnish, squeeze juice from the rest. Squeeze the 2nd orange as well.

3.

Finely blend thawed banana slices with orange juice and zest, honey, almond flour, Skyr and half of the coconut milk in a stand mixer. Quickly blend in remaining coconut milk. Divide banana-orange smoothie between 2 glasses and arrange with orange wedges and a drinking straw. Enjoy cold.
